At this time, people are experiencing the loss of a loved one, loss of freedoms, loss of financial security, and social isolation may be making the grief of this loss more difficult to deal with. A coordinated service has been established between a group of Bradford based counselling services (Bradford Counselling Collective) and Mind in Bradford to offer much needed support to people in Bradford and Craven who are experiencing grief and loss during the coronavirus outbreak.
If you have been affected by loss caused by the coronavirus, please contact us directly. We can offer up to 6 sessions of counselling that is being funded by the NHS. This service is open to all ages.
Alternatively you can contact Mind in Bradford’s Guideline:
- Call 01274 594 594 – this line is open 12pm to 12am every day
- Chat online – this service is open 12pm to 8pm every day
Mind in Bradford’s Guide-Line will register you, and talk through the options of being referred for counselling or alternatively accessing befriending support. All counsellors are fully qualified. The volunteer befrienders are trained in working with grief and loss and will provide practical advice and support.
